The Swiss Bitcoin Node is built on quality hardware Intel NUC computer. It contains quality RAM memory and a fast SSD hard-drive to reliable store the Bitcoin Blockchain. It connects via cable to your router and is thereby more tamper-proof than any wireless connection. It runs only the verified Open-Source original Bitcoin-Core to connect to other blockchain participants. No other third-party software is installed in order to ensure safety.

How does it work ?

Once you have received your SwissBitcoinNode you follow these easy steps.

  1. Unpack your Swiss Bitcoin Node !
  2. Connect your node to your router using the provided LAN-Cable.
  3. Let it automatically synchronise to get the lastest blocks from Blockchain. If you chose the option, most of the blockchain has already been synchronised.
  4. Open your router configuration panel to find your node IP-address
  5. On your personal laptop install the provided software and configure your node.
  6. With your laptop you connect to your node and create a Bitcoin wallet address.
  7. For added security we recommend using a cold-wallet, like BitBox (Swiss-Made) or COLDCARD. This can optionally be included in your order.
  8. Now transfer any amounts of BTC you are holding on centralised exchanges (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance) or other insecure phone wallets to your new Bitcoin node address.
  9. From now on all your transactions will be SAFE and completely PRIVATE.
